Junior Championship Quarter Final

Our Snug sponsored Junior team lost out to Shannon Gaels in the junior quarter final of the championship on Sunday last in Strokestown.

Family Fun Day and Evening at the races
Thanks to all that attended our family fun day and evening at the races. Also thanks to all who purchased horses for the races and also all that participated on the day.
 
Crime Fitness
For women and men all fitness levels, it consists of Circuit training, Resistance training, Interval training, Military circuits and Endurance training. All newcomers are free on the first night and its 5 euro per session after that, pay as you go. Mondays and Thursday 7-8 pm in St. Brigids Clubhouse. ST BRIGIDS MINOR COMMITTEE NOTES WEEK ENDING AUGUST 31st 2014

Minors: The RBK sponsored minor team are scheduled to play St Dominics in the Division 1 Championship at Knockcroghery on Friday next, September 5th at 6.45 pm.
          
U-16s: The Duggan Coaches sponsored U-16s were defeated by Padraig Pearses in the championship on Tuesday evening of last week on a scoreline of 1-15 to 2-8.

U-14s: The Homewatch sponsored Division 1 team's final replay meeting with Clann na nGael has been rescheduled for next Saturday, September 6th. Players will be notified of full details during the week. We wish the players and management the very best of luck.

U-12s: The Millmount sponsored Division 1 team lost out away to Boyle by six points in the league on Sunday morning last following a hugely competitive game. Despite the final scoreline of 3-10 to 2-7, it was a very close game throughout in which St Brigid's were trailing by just two points at half-time. Meanwhile, the Division 5 team recorded a well-earned victory against Clann na nGael in Johnstown on Saturday last on a scoreline of 4-11 to 2-4. Players will be notified of full details during the week of upcoming games.

U-10s: A big well done to the Sheraton Hotel sponsored U-10s who won The Downs Tournament on Saturday last. This was a very impressive achievement given the quality of teams who participated, including Navan O'Mahonys, Gowna, Kilcock and Athboy.

U-8s: The O'Rourke Fireplaces sponsored U-8s had a very enjoyable outing at the Connacht GAA centre in Ballyhaunis when they featured in the County Go Games blitz.
