Football Coaching Workshop : " Transitional play in Gaelic Football"
Roscommon Coaching and Games Development will hold a club coaches workshop on Friday night November 23rd with Steven Poacher.
Time = 7pm. Venue = Hyde Centre. Please bring indoor trainers and boots.

Presentation by Cuala GAA Club
Thank you to our Coaches who attended the presentation by Cuala GAA Club on Saturday evening. It was a most informative and thought provoking work shop and those who attended really enjoyed it and got lots of useful tips to progress our club. Huge thanks to John Donnellan and the coaching committee for organising the event. Feile Meeting
Connacht GAA will be holding a registration and information evening for all GAA and LGFA sides who have already signed up or are interested in partaking in Feile Peil na NOg 2019 being hosted by Connacht GAA throughout the Province on the weekend of June 28/29/30th 2019/
The information evening will take place at the Connacht GAA Centre on Monday 26th November at 7.30 p.m. Clubs who are attending are asked to bring back completed registration forms plus entry fees and are welcome to enquire about any matters that concern them regarding hosting or playing in Feile Peil 2018.
Award 1 Hurling Course
Roscommon Coach Education will hold an Award One Hurling course for all club coaches on Friday December 7th, Saturday December 8th and Saturday December 15th. We are asking all clubs to submit the names of their coaches who wish to avail of the course to Proinsias Killion Hurling GPO no later than Friday November 30th.
The course will take place in Knockcroghery NS and adjacent Astro pitch
On-Line Football Foundation Course
Roscommon Coach Education on-line Football Foundation Course will open on Wednesday November 21st for registration until Wednesday December 12th for all on-line modules to be completed, with a date for all practical assessment TBC. We are urging all GAA coaches interested in coaching to register by contacting course coordinator Oliver Lennon for all the details [email protected]
National Coaching & Games Development Conference
The GAA Games Development Conference will take place on Friday, January 11th and Saturday, January 12th in Croke Park. The Conference programme is currently being finalised, with information available from https://learning.gaa.ie/conference2019 and @gaalearning
CARDS
Reminder there are card every Monday Evening in the Hyde Centre from 8.30pm. Last weeks card winner was Noel Maguire and the runner’s up were Colin Kilcline and Michael Finan.

Scór Na nÓg 2019
This competition is open to all Roscommon Gaels members aged 17 or younger who would like to participate in the following: Ceilí, set dancing, solo singing, ballad group, recitation, instrumental music, drama and quiz. The Scor qualifier will be held on Saturday, 24th November in Ballinaheglish with winners representing Roscommon Gaels in the County Final on Sunday, 9th December in Dean Crowe, Athlone.
