The in-form trio of Brian Howard, Brian Fenton and Ciaran Kilkenny have been left out of the Dublin starting line-up for today's Super 8 clash with Roscommon.

With a semi-final spot already secured, Jim Gavin and his selectors have handed starts to Mick Fitzsimons, Eric Lowndes, Darren Daly, Paul Flynn, Michael Darragh Macauley, Eoghan O'Gara, Cormac Costello, Kevin McManamon and Paddy Andrews.

Jonny Cooper, Eoin Murchan, John Small, Jack McCaffrey, Con O'Callaghan and Dean Rock also make way from the team that inflicted a 1-14 to 0-14 defeat on Tyrone last time out.

Throw-in at GAA HQ is timed for 3.30pm.
