Junior A Football Championship

Clodiagh Gaels 1-8 Kilclonfert 1-7. Well done to the junior footballers who remained unbeaten with a win at home to Kilclonfert on Sunday. We went in at the break four points to one up and coming out to play against a stiff breeze in the second half. We started slow with Kilclonfert getting two points to bring the margin back to one until Shane Dolan rattled the net after great play from Kevin Kinahan and David Buckley. It was score for score from then until the end with Kilclonfert converting a penalty with ten minutes remaining to leave a point in the game and make a nervy ending for all. A monster point from David Buckley put us two points up with two minutes left. A late free from Kilclonfert went over but it was not enough for them to get anything from the game.

Annual Club Draw and Social Night

Our annual club draw and social night will take place in Doyles on Saturday 1st of July at 9pm. All of the silverware won last year will be present on the night for the last time.
