LOTTO

The numbers drawn in the Lotto draw which took place on Monday 15 May were 16 21 25 30. There was No Jackpot winner of €3,800 and 1 Match 3 Winner (Josie Hickey C/O Geashill P/O) (€200 Each). Next week's draw will take place in Direen's, Cloneygowan on Monday 29 May 2017.

DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Raheen Senior Footballers suffered defeat to Tubber In the Div 1 League last Wednesday week in Tubber on a scoreline of 2-18 to 0-06.

JUNIOR C FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 3RD ROUND

Raheen Junior Footballers remain unbeaten as they picked up their second win by hammering Drumcullen in Rd 3 of the Junior C Championship last Friday evening in Geashill on a scoreline of 3-22 to 0-07. Raheen opened up with 3 points to 1 before getting their first goal on 10 mins as Kaelyn Thompson caught a high ball before turning and shooting to the top left corner of the net. Straight from the kickout a speculative shot from outside the square dipped in over the head of the keeper for goal no 2. Thereafter for the remainder of the half Raheen added a further 8 points to Drumcullen's 2 and so at the break Raheen held a commanding lead of 2-11 to 0-03. Drumcullen added a point straight from the re-start before Raheen responded with 2 more points followed by their 3rd goal cooly dispatched by Paddy Arnold for his second of the game. Thereafter for the remainder of the game Raheen wrapped it up with a further 9 point tally to Drumcullen's 3.

MINOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Na Fianna Minor Footballers get their playing campaign under way on this Friday (26 May) @ 7:30pm in Geashill as they take on Edenderry in Rd 1 of the Minor Championship. Best of Luck to Players & Management. All Support would be appreciated.

 

U14 A FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP RD 2

Na Fianna U14 Footballers will be looking to make it 2 wins out of 2 in the A Championship as they take on St Manchan Gaels in Rd 2 next Wednesday (31 May) @ 7:30pm in Tubber. All Support would be appreciated.
