Dinner Dance

Thanks to everyone who came and made the night what it was. We had a great night with MC Michael Duignan and guest of honour Eddie Brennan providing great entertainment. Speeches were made by club Chairman Mark Sheil, County Board Chairman Tommy Byrne and former County Board Chairman Padraig Boland. We would like to thank Phil O'Reilly who sponsored Intermediate and Junior hurler of the year awards as well as the Junior footballer of the year accolade. Congratulations to Dylan Hyland who claimed the Intermediate hurler of the year award and the award was collected by his father Tom. Congratulations to Michael Monaghan who picked up the Junior hurler of the year award to add to the Junior county hurler of the year award he won last month. Congratulations to Nigel Cunningham who won the Junior footballer of the year award. Brendan Kennedy was presented with trophy for his efforts as Junior hurling manager. We were also delighted to present Jean and Lisa Brady with bouquets of flowers to celebrate them being announced as Offaly Senior and Junior camogie captains. There are so many people to thank but there wouldn't be enough paper to write it on!!
