Well done to the hurlers who qualified for the championship semi final with a two point victory over K/K in the quarter final in Killurin on Sunday morning. In a game that had absolutely everything the Killeigh lads just about prevailed as they showed huge guts to dig out a result that could have gone either way. An equalising point from Nigel Cunningham in the last minute of normal time sent the game to extra time and a goal in the last minute of the additional period from Adam Kinahan sent the Killeigh lads through to the semi final in a pulsating game of hurling.
