U-14 Football
Pride of place this week goes to the U-14 football squad who competed in and won the competition set up by the county board for club teams who would normally be part of an amalgamation. Representing the Killeigh and Killurin clubs, the squad had already beaten Clara and Ballycumber in earlier rounds. On Thursday they travelled to Clara to take on Shamrocks in the semi final, which, after a convincing win saw them face Clara again in the final. Once more, playing some fantastic football, the Killeigh team ran out comprehensive winners, to claim the inaugural trophy. The size of the achievement is put into perspective when compared against the profile of the clubs Killeigh defeated along the way. Well done to the squad and mentors Barry Dolan, Owen Dillon and Peter Hinch and here's hoping for more success over the years from this talented group of players.
Squad: Ronan Beatty, Sean Beatty, Cathal Brady, Diarmuid Brady, Mark Dillon, Aaron Dunne, Ollie Dunne, Rory Dunne, Luke Garry, Lee Meally, Ryan Kinahan, Mark Keeley, Patrick Kelly, Martin Kelly, Fergal Dolan, Tiarnan Grennan, Ben O'Brien, Fintan Hinch, Diarmaid Walsh, Aaron Condron, Nathaniel Troy and Aaron Flanagan.

Minor Football
Best Wishes to Shane, Clint, Kevin and the rest of the Offaly squad in Thursday nights Leinster Minor Football semi final against Dublin.

Sympathy
The club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the Betson family and Ballinagar GAA club on the recent sad passing of Jason Betson.
