Ballycumber GAA Club.

Football.

Ballycumber will face Ferbane in Tubber on Friday at 8 pm in Round 2 of the Tullamore Court Hotel Senior B Football Championship.

Entry to the ground is by ticket only, a draw will be made for the 50 available tickets among fully paid up members who indicate their wish to attend the game by texting 0872064841.

On Saturday at 4.30 Erin Rovers will play against Tubber in Round 2 of the Tullamore Court Hotel Senior B Football Championship in Ballycumber. Again, entry to the ground is by ticket only. Stewards are asked to be available from 3pm.

Sunday at 1 pm Ballycumber will play against Clonmore Harps in the Tullamore Court Hotel Junior B Football Championship in Ballycumber. Entry to the ground is by ticket only and again please text 0872064841 to be included in the draw.

Membership fees can be paid to Club Registrar Angela Kelly.

St Manchan Gaels under 13 team will travel to Tullamore to face the home team in the Under 13 C Championship on Thursday evening at 7.30.

St Manchans Gaels under 17 side will play against Tullamore on Saturday at 11 am in Pullough and the Under 20 team will line out against Gracefield in Doon on Tuesday 11th August at 8 pm in the Tullamore Court Hotel Under 20 Football Championship.

Hurling.

Brosna Gaels played very well on Sunday in Ballycumber when losing by two points to a strong Belmont team on a score of 0—20 to 1—15.

Sympathy.

Ballycumber GAA Club wish to extend our sincere sympathy to the Mannion, Daly and Larkin families on the death in her 99th year of Bridget [Beenie] Mannion, Clonaderig, Ballinahown. The former Beenie Daly from Cornafurish, Ballycumber, she was stalwart of the all conquering Ballycumber Camogie teams of the 1930/40’s.

Lotto.

The numbers drawn were 6,16,19,30. No jackpot winner, one match three winner.

Next week’s draw will be held in Gussies on Monday evening for a jackpot of 9900euros.
