Junior C Football Championship Final Replay

Clodiagh Gaels 2-5 Bracknagh 2-10. Hard luck to the lads on a tough night in testing conditions. They hung in all the way and were unlucky that certain chances didn’t go their way but taking nothing away from Bracknagh who fully deserved their win. The Gaels two goals came from John Paul Casey in the first half and Gus O’Brien in the second half. Thanks to Mark and his management team for looking after the team all year.

Find The Joker

The results of our fourth find the joker draw are as follows;

1st Prize - Mary Brady

2nd Prize - Niall Kearns

3rd Prize - Cillian Dunne

Unfortunately Mary was unsuccessful in finding the joker this week.

Envelopes are in circulation for our find the joker fundraiser. All you have to do to enter the draw for the jackpot is put €2 in an envelope and your envelope will be put in the drum for the fortnightly draw. The first envelope drawn will have the chance to find the joker. A draw will take place on the night with the first envelope drawn out in with a chance of finding the joker and if unsuccessful finding the joker then they receive €30 with a 2nd prize of €10 and a 3rd prize of €10. The next draw takes place in Grennan’s On The Green on Friday the 11th of October at 9pm and every other draw will be fortnightly thereafter. The jackpot is currently €400.

Congratulations to Chris Keenahan, son of Jim & Esther, and Yvonne Deasy, daughter of Aidan & Teresa, who tied the knot recently in Nerja, Spain.
