Senior B Football Championship Quarter Final.

Ballycumber will face Walsh Island on Friday evening next 13th September in the Faithful Fields at 8 o’clock in the Quarter Final of the Tullamore Court Hotel Senior B Football Championship. All support for the team in this important game is much appreciated.

Hurling.

Congratulations to Brosna Gaels who recorded a 3—20 to 1—16 victory over Birr in Banagher on Sunday in the Molloy Environmental Systems Intermediate Hurling Championship and have qualified for the Quarter Final.

Under 15 Football.

Congratulations to St Manchan Gaels under 15 footballers who defeated Kilcormac Killoughey  on a score of 3—14 to 1—8 in the Championship Play Off in Ballycumber on Wednesday.

Junior Football Final.

Best of luck to Doon in the Final against Edenderry in Bord na Mona O’Connor Park on Saturday next at 3 o’clock.

Lotto.

The numbers drawn this week were 3,4,10,16.  No jackpot winner, eight match three winners. Ballycumber Dance Classses

Learn how to Jive, Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot and Line dance. Dance Classes every Monday night from 8pm in Ballycumber Community Centre.  Beginners class 8 - 9, Improvers from 9 - 10 and dancing for all from 10 - 11pm.  Great exercise and good fun, no partners required.

History.

Ballycumber History Group are continuing to research the 80 men and women from the Ballycumber area who fought in World War 1. The group would appreciate any information on any of the men and women who answered the call and would love to meet family members.
