A Night at the Races.

Ballycumber GAA Club committee wish to thank all our Race sponsors for their generosity. M& M Stairs, Gussies, Brian Corcoran Tractor Sales, The Gav Inn, Dolan’s Gala, Bracken Truck Parts, Kelly Tarmac, Simon Casey Music, Brian McManus Pharmacy, Proline Agencies, Bracken Brothers, Michael Egan, Flynn’s of Grogan, Kelly Fitted Furniture, Minnock Building, Hussey Fraser Solicitors. Prizes were sponsored by Eddie Rockets.

The Club also wish to acknowledge the generosity of all sponsors of Horses and Jockeys and all who supported the Raffle and thank James Ennis and staff in Gussies for their hospitality.

The race commentators Diarmuid Daly and Conor Connelly contributed enormously to the enjoyment of the large attendance. Vinny Minnock made sure that the technology worked properly and the Tote crew of Jody Quinn, Anne Creevy, Kathryn Quinn, Angela Kelly and Daniel Boland ensured that bets were collected and winners paid.

The lucky winner of the Raffle prize of an overnight stay in the 4 star Hotel Kilkenny was Brian Halligan.

Sympathy.

Our sincere sympathy to Jackie Egan and family, Bellair and the Egan family, Kilnagarna on the death of their mother Kathleen in her 97th year and  to Noel and Yvonne Kenny, Moorock on the death of Yvonne’s mother Philomena McGorrian, Shannon, Co Clare.

Lotto.

The Lotto draw on St Stephens night results are, numbers drawn were 3,9,13,16. No jackpot winner, two match three winners. Next draw in Stewarts on Monday night for a jackpot of 12,100 euros.

AGM.

The Annual General Meeting of Ballycumber GAA Club will be held in the Clubroom on Sunday 27th January. All members and new members are asked to attend.
