Kilcormac/Killoughey captain Peter Healion looks set to take his place in the side for the Leinster club SHC final against Cuala on Sunday.
Healion was carried off the field during the semi-final win over Mount Leinster Rangers last month and it was initially feared that the full forward had broken his leg.
However, despite this not been the case, the Midland Tribune reports that Healion will not be fully fit, but will play some part in the game.
This eases the blow of losing Cillian Kiely's appeal against the one match suspension he received for his sending off against the Carlow champions.
Kilcormac/Killoughey go into this game as underdogs, but they will be hoping to repeat their provincial win of 2012.
