Table Quiz.

Saturday 2nd December in The Gav Inn at 10 o'clock with questions by Claire Connelly. The " specialist round is entitled " All Stars".

Friday 8th December in Gussies at 10 o'clock with questions by Gary Doolin.                             Entry to quiz and raffle is by purchasing a ticket for the GAA National Club Draw 2018 at 10 euro each. Prizes for 1st, 2nd,and 3rd tables in quiz, prizes for raffle winners and entry to National Draw for prizes of Renault Dynamique, All Ireland Final packages including Match tickets, accommodation in Croke Park Hotel with dinner for two and shopping vouchers. All welcome.

Copies of A Walkers Guide to Ballycumber Past are available at 10 each from Maureen in Ballycumber Post Office, Peter Flynn in Flynn's of Grogan, Offaly History, Bury Quay, Tullamore and from History Group members.

Sympathy.

Sincere condolences to Willie Vaugh, Springpark and to the Vaugh and Griffith families on the death of Gladys this week.

Lotto.

The lotto numbers drawn this week were 10,13,19,28. No jackpot winner, one match three winner. History Group.

When families are meeting over the Christmas time and remembering times past, if something of a historical nature is discussed, please make a note of it and pass it on to members of the History Group. Our next project is to record as many items of historical interest in the Moorock, Bellair, Boher, Castlearmstrong and Leamonaghan areas as possible.
