Reunion of 1987 Championship teams

1987 was the year Charlie Haughey became Taoiseach. While Charlie lived the high life in the Dail, the footballers of Daingean gave their supporters a year to remember. A young Daingean team captured the Senior b championship, while the junior b team, backboned by experienced players such as Tommy Greene also won the championship. We remember both teams this coming Saturday night, the 25th of November in Maunsells from 9pm and look forward to an evening of craic, music and good spirits.

Daingean GAA Last Man Standing

The 2018 edition of the Last Man Standing competition commences this week. With a prize money of €500 for the winner, it's a great way to test your GAA knowledge. Entries will be available in the coming week from club members and local shops and pubs

Last year we had close to 300 entries so we're looking to beat that figure this year.
