Ballycumber club notes

November 14, 2017

Christmas Gift.

A copy of" A Walkers Guide to Ballycumber Past" would make an ideal Christmas Gift for natives of Ballycumber who are no longer living locally. The book is available from Maureen in the Post Office in Gussies, from Peter Flynn in Flynn's of Grogan and from Committee members at 10 euro.

History Group.

The members of Ballycumber GAA History Group are delighted with the photographs and documents they have received so far. All photos have been copied and returned to their owner. More information on historic events and locations in Moorock, Bellair, Boher, Castlearmstrong and Leamonaghan is required and can be made available to members or drop into The Barracks on Tuesday night 21st November from 8pm.

Sympathy.

We offer our deepest sympathy to former player Vincent Guinan and all the Guinan family, The Village and the Keenan family, Ferbane on the sad death of Tessie. The large crowds who visited the house in Coosan and attended the Funeral Mass and burial reflected the esteem in which Tessie and family are held.

GAA National Club Draw 2018.

Tickets at 10 euro are available from committee and players for the annual GAA Draw. There are wonderful prizes to won including a Renault Dynamique as first prize. Numerous All Ireland Final packages and Shopping Vouchers are also to be won.
