This weekend sees a round of star games, game where the clubs play without their County players, in the Junior, intermediate and senior football leagues

In the Junior football league Oram are down to play Scotstown in Oram on Saturday evening at 7 PM but that one may be put on hold due to the involvement of Deaglan Crowe with the County hurlers in the Rackard Cup. The other games in the Junior football league on Sunday see Killeevan away against Killanny, Blackhill at home to Sean McDermotts, Toome travelling to Rockcorry and Eire Og playing hosts to Aghabog in Smithboro, those games on Sunday at 2 PM.

IFL

In the intermediate football league on Sunday, Drumhowan are at home against Doohamlet, Tyholland travel to Corduff, Aughanmullen play hosts to Cremartin and Emyvale travel to Currin all for a 2.00pm start. The other game between Carrickmacross and Clones in Carrickmacross is at 2.30pm.

In the senior football league on Sunday Truagh have home advantage over Ballybay, Castleblayney travel to Donaghmoyne and Scotstown play hosts to Magheracloone, those three games at 2.00pm while the game where Clontibret have home advantage over Latton, is at 7.00 PM. The other game in that round between Inniskeen and Monaghan Harps is on Tuesday evening next May 19th at 8 PM.

RESERVES.

On Wednesday evening next, May 20th, the action switches to the reserve competitions with six games in the reserve football leagues and one game, Eire Og v Truagh in the reserve championship Crawley Cup, that one in Smithboro at 7:45 PM.

In the reserve leagues Scotstown are at home against Latton and Cremartin are away against Clontibret in division 1A. In division 1B Monaghan Harps are at home against Aughnamullen and Tyholland are away against Emyvale while in division 2A Sean McDermotts are at home against Donaghmoyne and Doohamlet travel to Rockcorry.  Meanwhile in division 2B Blackhill travel to Carrickmacross and Inniskeen are at home against Corduff, those games all timed for 8.00PM.

HURLING.

There were three games in the Development Hurling league last Thursday evening that saw victories for Carrickmacross over Truagh, Clontibret over Monaghan Harps HC and Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh over Castleblayney HC. This evening Thursday, May 14th there is another round of matches in this hurling league all at 7:45 PM, Monaghan Harps HC at home against Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh, Carrickmacross HC away at Clontibret and Truagh with home advantage over Castleblayney HC. The next round of matches in the Development hurling league will be on this evening week, Thursday, May 21st, Monaghan Harps HC at home against Castleblayney HC, Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh away against Carrickmacross HC and Truagh with home advantage over Clontibret, those games on May 21st at the later time of 8.00PM.

UNDERAGE.

Meanwhile at underage level Inniskeen are at home against Knockbridge of County Louth in round 1 of the under 14 hurling league on Monday evening next May 18th at 7:30 PM. Also on Monday next at 7:30 PM Clontibret take on Cootehill Celtic in the under 12 hurling league and there is one game in the under 16 hurling league, Monaghan Harps HC at home against Lisbellaw St Patrick's.

MHL.

Meanwhile at minor level this Sunday sees the final of the minor hurling league between Monaghan Harps HC and Carrickmacross H C, Monaghan Harps getting through to the final after Inniskeen had conceded to them in their semi-final last week. That game is in Clontibret on Sunday at 12 noon.
