AGM: The 2014 AGM took place on Monday night, as 2014 was reviewed, and plans were set in motion for a very exciting 2015. The following officers were elected: Chairperson: Enda Quinn; Vice Chairperson: Jim McArdle; Secretary & Youth Officer: Irene Connolly; Treasurer: Grainne Gorman; PRO & Coaching Officer: Ciaran Watters. Registrar: Declan Lambe; U12 Officer: Aidan McArdle; U12-Minor Officer: Sean O'Reilly; ASAP Officers: Grainne Gorman & Irene Connolly. Many thanks to Peter Donaghy and Peter Devlin, who have decided to take a break from the committee, for their efforts over the years. Peter Donaghy served as club Registrar in the last few years, having served as joint treasurer with his good friend Dermot Reavy for many years before that, as well as attending to a multitude of tasks, particularly the upkeep of our facilities over the years. He said little, but what he said was usually worth listening to! Peter Devlin steps down as Secretary, having served as Chairman before that. Leading a club at a young age through the recession years was no small task, and no doubt he will be back to lend his assistance at some stage.

Astroturf: The winter astroturf season has well and truly started and Louis has been busy in the last few weeks, as people are keen to take advantage of the all-weather surface. The Toome facility is unique, as it is adaptable for a number of sports and activities, and it is well kept, ensuring that is in optimum condition, whatever the weather! Deepest Sympathy: To the family and friends of the late Julia Kelly, who died recently. Mrs Kelly had many connections in the Toome area, and her sons and grandsons represented the club. She lived to 97 years of age, and will be missed by many. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
