O'Neill seeks improvement

November 21, 2014

Inniskeen manager Alan O'Neill feels that his side must improve if they are to win the Ulster club IFC title.

The Monaghan champions will face Down's Warrenpoint in the final and despite an impressive semi-final win over Fermanagh side Derrylin last weekend, O'Neill is adamant that they must improve.

Speaking to the Northern Standard he said: "We know ourselves that the Down champions wouldn't have seen much that would cause them any fear here, so we will have to work on improving that.

"But, all I can say is we will prepare as best we can over the next two weeks and see where that takes us. Look, we weren't perfect, but I have to say we are happy to have got over the line."
