Lotto: The Lotto resumes this Sunday night the 12th of January with the Jackpot being €7000. This weeks Lotto team is Angela & Mark Duffy & Tom Leanagh.

 

Noel Farrell Support Fund: Many thanks to all the people who turned up at the Coffee Morning held in Aughnamullen Social Centre on last Sunday morning. There was a tremendous turnout from the local people and surrounding areas. On behalf of Noel & the Farrell Family they would like to thank all those who helped out that morning, for all the donations for the raffle and everyone who donated to the Noel Farrell Support Fund.  They are overwhelmed by the support of the community and people who came from near and far.

 

Membership Night: There is a membership night this Friday night for the club in the Social Centre from 7.30pm - 9.30pm anyone who wishes to pay their membership are welcomed to attend. Membership this year are as follows Adult Non Playing member €30, Family €55(2 Adults from 1 Family), Adult Player Over 18 €50, Adult Player Over 17 but U18 €30, Social Membership €15 - it is encouraged that anyone using the Walking Track to pay the Social Membership if they not wish to become Full Members of the Club

 

Juvenile Meeting: A very important Juvenile meeting will be held on next Tuesday night the 14th of January at 7.30pm. This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in our Juvenile Teams either by Coaching, Management or the direction the club should be striving towards in 2020 are welcome to attend.

 

Annual Dance: Our Annual Dance is being held on the 22nd February 2020 in the Social Centre. Guests of Honour this year will be the Hall of Fame Recipients, relevant Player of the year Awards and the successful Minor Treanor Cup Winning side of 2000. More details to follow.

First Communion/ Confirmation: With First Holy communion on the 9th May and Sacrament of Confirmation on the 14th March Aughnamullen Social Centre are awarding special packages for families for meals and entertainment on these dates.  For further details contact Rosemary Johnston on 0872862074 or the Social Centre on 0429745626 after 8pm.

Aughnamullen GAA Poker Classic: Our Annual Texas Holdem Poker Classic Takes place on Saturday 18th January in Aughnamullen Social Centre commencing at 7pm. Registration is at 6.30pm with an Early Bird Chip of 2000. Admission is €50 with optional Buy Ins and Top Up of €20.

 

Ladies AGM: Aughnamullen Ladies hold their Annual General Meeting this Friday night the 10th of January at 8pm for parents, management and anyone who is interested in helping out in anyway should attend. They have currently have a small Committee who would love some extra help and would urge parents to come to this meeting for the future of the club.

 

Best Wishes: Best wishes is extended to neighbouring clubs i.e. Blackhill who play in the All Ireland Junior Club Championship Semi Final against Rathgarogue-Cushinstown (Wexford) this Saturday at 1.30pm in Newbridge Co Kildare and also to Magheracloone who play Mattock Rangers (Louth) in the All Ireland Intermediate Club Semi Final also this Saturday at 1.30pm in Crossmaglen

 

Well Done: Well Done to Monaghan U20's and especially our club representatives on the panel i.e. Tiernan Duffy & Aaron Mc Gee who defeated Westmeath on Saturday last they play away to Cavan this Saturday in Kingscourt at 2pm.

 

Congratulations: Congratulations is extended to Brian & Claire Duffy Crossduff on the birth of a baby boy recently.

 

Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to Rose Mc Ginn Lurgangreen on the death of her sister Brid Daly Castleblayney may god have mercy on her soul.
