Lotto: The Lotto was held on Sunday night last the numbers drawn out were 11,14,20,23 there was one winner which was Tom Leanagh Cornacarrow who won the jackpot of €1800.

Seniors: The Seniors returned to winning ways in the league last Saturday when they had an excellent away victory against Killanny on a score line of 0-17 to 1-12. In the first half Killanny were first off the blocks with a well taken goal. Aughnamullen came back with a Sean Sheridan point but Killanny scored the next 2 points to go 4 up. The next 4 points were shared equally with our scores coming from Michael Bannigan and Edmond Mc Ardle. At this stage Aughnamullen got the ascendancy around the middle of the field and scored 3 points without reply the scores coming from Colin Clerkin(2) & Michael Bannigan to leave 1 in it. Again back came the home side with another point but the blues scored the final 4 points of the half courtesy of Colin Clerkin, Edmond Mc Ardle, Mark Mc Ardle & Sean Sheridan to leave it 0-10 to 1-05 at the break. In  the second half Aughnamullen started strongly scoring 3 of the first 4 points to lead by 4 after 10 minutes, our scores coming from Tiernan Duffy, Edmond Mc Ardle & Colin Clerkin. In the next 10 minutes the next 4 scores were traded equally our scores coming from birthday boy himself Edmond Mc Ardle and with 7 minutes to go it was 0-15 to 1-08. Killanny to their credit reduced the lead but they could not get on parity and Aughnamullen last 2 points came from Michael Bannigan to leave 2 in it at the finish. Next game is pencilled in for Sunday week at home to Tyholland at 3pm. Under 17: The Under 17 team play away to Emyvale at 11am. Best wishes to the management and team

Parish League: Last Sunday the Annual Parish League was held at Sarsfield Park and it was packed to capacity with colour & smiles. After over 2 and a half hours football where the spectators were treated to some brilliant football the presentation of cups & medals took place in the centre. Prior to the presentation everyone was treated to food and treats. On behalf of the juvenile Committee a massive thanks is extended to all the children, parents, coaches, time keepers, referees, chefs & waiters and anybody else who helped out on the day. Also a massive thanks to Tomco Foods, Agro Merchants, Carrick Butchers who sponsored the Food. Also to Ian & Rosemary Johnston of Gifts & Things who provided assistance on the day

Ladies: The Seniors Ladies play in the Semi final of the League on Saturday evening next at 5pm at home against Corduff please support the management & the team. Hard luck is extended to the girls Under 12 team who were defeated last Saturday against Carrickmacross.

Congrats: Congrats is extended to Senior player Gary Mulligan who celebrated his 40th Birthday recently. Also to Michael Connolly Tullynamalroe who celebrated his 50th Birthday recently.

Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to the Wilson Family on the death of Andy Wilson Lisduff who died recently. May god have mercy on his soul.

Mass: There is Mass for the deceased members of the Huntsmen club on  this Friday the 5th October at 7.30pm in Sacred Heart Church Lough Egish followed by refreshments in the Social Centre

Parish Dance: The Parish Dance is being held on Saturday 6th October in the social centre. Music is by the McCormick Brothers and admission is €10. 

Coaching Course: Monaghan Coaching & Games are planning to roll out a Level 3 diploma course in Performance Coaching for Gaelic Games. The course Consists of 4 units - Building for Success, Planning & periodisation, Technology and Physical Preparation Strategies for Improving Performance. 12 Sessions to be delivered from January to March on Wednesday evenings / Saturday mornings.The course to take place in Cloghan, Monaghan County Training Grounds. Cost €125 per person.

GAA Season Ticket: The GAA Season 2019 is currently on sale. If you wish to pay €200 for club + ticket it entitles you to free entry to all Monaghan's National League games, first round of the Ulster Championship, discounted price to all other championship games Monaghan play in, free entry to All Ireland Senior club finals on St Patricks Day and free entry to all Monaghan Club Championship games in 2019 and a guaranteed All Ireland ticket should Monaghan qualify for the All Ireland Final
