It been a very good week for our footballers at Senior and Juvenile level as Doohamlet booked their place in two finals last week.

U13's:  First up was our U13 team who qualified for the Championship final on Thursday evening last with an excellent display defeating Corduff away in their semi final.  Congrats to all the players and management and we wish them well in the final.

Seniors:  On Friday evening our Seniors travelled to Blackhill and continued their good league form with a comfortable victory.  Goals from Barry McBennett, Niall Connolly and Ted Duffy proved to be the vital scores and Doohamlet ran out winners 3-08 to 0-09.  Next fixture for our Senior team is a home game on Saturday evening against Donaghmoyne.

Reserves:  Well done to our Reserve team on reaching the Platinum Tanks RFC final on Sunday last with a 2-12 to 0-12 victory over Eire Óg.  Doohamlet were rampant in the first half and led at the break 1-09 to 0-08, Emmett McManus with the goal.  Eire Óg dominated for long periods in the second half and reduced the arrears to within a point.  Doohamlet finished strongly however and eventually found their scoring boots with Oisin O'Neill netting our second goal to seal victory.  Doohamlet now play Corduff in the final of this competition.
