Club Lotto

There was no winner of our jackpot which was worth €4800 this week. The numbers drawn were 4, 6, 16 and 22. The four lucky dip winners who each receive €50 were Damien Rudden, Mary Burns, Crumlin, Loretta McConnon and John Ward, Corkeeran. Next weeks draw will take place in the Clubrooms next Monday evening for a jackpot of €4900. Thank you all for your continued support of the Lotto www.magheracloonemitchells.ie 

Easter Camp

Magheracloone hosted a very successful Easter Camp last week. 135 boys and girls attended the camp and even though the weather didn't play ball it didn't dampen the spirits of our rising stars. Thank you to all the coaches who made the Camp so successful and hopefully you'll all be back in July for the Cúl Camp. 

Cúl Camp

Monaghan Coaching & Games are looking for applications for the position of Kellogg's Cúl Camp Coaches and Assistant Coaches for the 2018 camps. 

Any coaches wishing to apply for work at the Kellogg's Cul Camps can download the Application Form from www.monaghangaa.ie. 

Juvenile pitch 

Our Juvenile pitch is closed for training and matches until further notice so it can be allowed recuperate after the bad spell of weather. 

Membership 

Membership is now due and can be paid to any committee member. Forms can be downloaded from our website www.magheracloonemitchells.ie. Players are not insured to train or play if they have not paid their membership.

The club would like to extend it's best wishes to Jack Doogan, Ryan Farrelly, Ronan McKeown, Ryan McNulty and the whole Monaghan panel in the final of the U17 Ulster League this Saturday against Donegal in Drumragh, Co Tyrone at 2pm. Best of luck lads!!  

Seniors

Our Seniors suffered another defeat at the hands of Ballybay last Sunday. After a great start and going ahead by three points Ballybay clawed back into the game and went in ahead at half time 1-08 to 0-7. Unfortunately Magheracloone were unable to gain ground on their opposition and lost the match on a scoreline of 1-16 to 0-12.

Reserves

Our Reserves play Truagh at home on Saturday evening at 7pm. All support welcome. 

U9's

Well done to all our U9's who took part in the Killanny blitz last Saturday. We entered two teams and the standard of football with these juveniles improves with every outing. Training Thursday evening for the U9's from 7pm to 8pm. 

U11's

Training takes place on Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8:15pm. 

Our first Spring League game takes place on Saturday in Magheracloone at 12pm. Donaghmoyne are the opposition. Best of luck everybody. 

U13's

The Gerry's Prepared Veg & Take Away Under 13 Division 2 Football League game between Magheracloone and Scotstown is now rescheduled for Saturday 14th of April 2018 at 14:30pm in Magheracloone instead of the following weekend. 

U15's

Our U15's opened their account in the Division 1 league with a great win away to Monaghan Harps on a scoreline 4-11 to 3-09. This was always going to be a tough opening fixture but one that our lads left nothing on the field. Next game is a home fixture on Thursday evening against at 6:30pm. All players please be in the dressing room at 5:45pm. All support welcome.

Minors 

Our minors defeated Latton on Tuesday evening on a scoreline of 4-07 to 1-10. Well done lads! 

Ladies Club Notes

Our 14's opened their league campaign with a convincing win over Donaghmoyne on a scoreline of 5-09 to 3-06. Both teams are to be commended on an excellent game of football over the sixty minutes. Great performances from all our girls. Next up is O'Neill Shamrocks on Monday 24th of April in Cremartin @ 6:45pm
