Doohamlet club notes

March 21, 2018

Reserves:            Drumhowan 0-06             Doohamlet 2-10

Doohamlet made the short journey to our opening game of the 2018 season and were full value for their comfortable win. Playing a good brand of open fast football our forwards were more potent in front of a goal and the home side struggled to contain a lively forward division. On a bitterly cold morning Dermot Kelly in goals, steady throughout and made a brilliant reflex save to keep a clean sheet. John Duffy, Gabie Casey and Emmett McManus were very prominent in defense with Conor Marray and Greg Duffy bossing midfield. Young Oisin O'Neill, Michael Marray, Hugh McGinn and Ted Duffy all played their part but Man of the Match must go to Sean Markey who was excellent throughout with his ball winning ability and powerful running. Next outing for our Reserves is on Saturday next 24th March v Blackhill at home. Throw-In 5pm.
