Referees

Everyone gives out about referees, but if we don't have enough of them then quite simply our games do not go ahead. We as a Club need to recruit a few good people to join the referees panel both at Adult and Youth level.
A Referees Induction Course will be held in Cloghan on Friday 9th February and anyone in the area who feels they are up to it contact the Club Secretary at 0863164178. 
We have an obligation to provide referees and you will be helping out your club by putting yourself forward now.

 

Registration and Membership

After much discussion at club level it has been decided to raise and streamline registration fees for players and members for the coming year.  The main reason for this is the cost of player insurance and affiliation fees which have risen considerably in the last couple of years. A decision has been made that if a player has not paid his registration fee, he cannot play or train. The new registration fees are as follows: Adult membership €75 each. (€50 for students/unwaged, but remember that full contributors to the Clontibret Our Future Fund receive automatic membership). Juveniles: €50 each, but where parents are contributors to Clontibret Our Future its €25 per child. All prospective and existing club members must now fill in a membership form as authorised by Croke Park and these will be distributes and collected in the coming weeks. A Juvenile Registration evening will be held in a few weeks' time but meanwhile all adult players must sign up before training begins.
