Fathers and sons team up on the double

Donaghmore Ashbourne's Sean and Eamonn Hogan with Daithí and Ciarán O'Reilly in action for St. Michaels against Duleek Bellewstown
St Michaels and Donaghmore Ashbourne both had father and son combinations playing together in the last couple of days.
Last Thursday Donaghmore/Ashbourne's hurlers took on Dunderry in the league and with only a couple of substitutes to call on, selector Eamonn Hogan togged out and ended up being introduced in the second half to join his son Sean.
In the B football league on Saturday St Michaels fielded a defence that included Daithí O'Reilly at full back and his son Ciarán at no. 5.
Whether it was a case of the young legs covering the old man or the wise head looking after the youngster, we'll leave that up to someone else to decide!
