Brendan reilly was still playing minor in 87 so wasn't involved with the seniors until 88.martin o connell and colm coyle are the only 2 meathmen with 3 medals I'm pretty sure

He has Senior from '96 and '99 but if you include Minor and U-21 then Graham Geraghty would have 4. jackhackett (Meath) - Posts: 773 - 16/11/2016 14:32:53 1934692 Link 0 |

Good question! I would go for Donal Keoghan but there is still time. :P ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 16/11/2016 16:41:03 1934758 Link 2 |

I think Cathal Sheridan is the only Meath player to have 4 All Ireland medals in different grades Minor ,U 21 , Junior and Senior. Sam87 (Meath) - Posts: 2 - 18/11/2016 00:43:56 1935236 Link 0 |

Ahh dear god we didn't appreciate them enough when we had them. :( royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 18/11/2016 13:22:00 1935334 Link 0 |
Yes I would agree, but I think that PJ Gillic also has completed that feat.

PJ Gillic? Apart from not winning All-Irelands in minor, U-21 or Junior, he came close!! He did however achieve the fairly rare feat of playing Minor, U-21, Junior and Senior in the same year (1986). If memory serves me right, he only played senior in the league though. I seem to remember someone saying at the time that he came very close to matching Dermot Earleys achievement of playing championship in all 4 grades in the same year. anfearbeag (Meath) - Posts: 1134 - 18/11/2016 23:42:00 1935434 Link 5 |

PJ Gillick as I can remember played minor in 1985 and U 21, Junior and Senior championship in 1986. It's great to win Leinster medals in the four grades , not many achieve this . Sam87 (Meath) - Posts: 2 - 19/11/2016 23:55:31 1935525 Link 0 |
No he definitely played Junior in 85. He played senior in the league later that year (the league of course started before Christmas back then), and played senior championship in 86.
