Just a side note away from the doom and gloom surrounding the county team at the minute dominating this forum ! Some big results over the weekend and a special mention to Meath Hill on a good win in division 2

Was at the Kilbride v ballivor game on Sat evening entertaining game with in my opinion ballivor looked like they were only playing at about 60% and won very easily and looked very impressive I was talking to a few from ballivor and they informed me ballivor were missing 9 or players if u can be with out tat many players and still play so impressively I would give ballivor a outside chance in the intermediate

Ballivor will have to show their ability against better teams than kilbride who are a very poor side these days and could possibly be relegated. The competition in intermediate is very open though. Ballivor have a lot of tough teams to get through. On another note props to Meath hill beating Blackhall Gaels, who would have predicted Junior toppling senior? Certainly making top teams take them more seriously after their performance this weekend..but the question has to be asked..does this highlight the lack of quality in the Senior championship?

Dunshaughlin report a bit like a reality tv script. People on here are interested in reports on matches, not on nicknames or a detailed itinerary of what players got up to in the last week

lighten up, its actually a great report in fairness and very humorous. Things must be bad in your house hold if giving out about a match report!

If you are from Dunshaughlin it probably is what you say, but from a neutrals point of view it ain't

In fairness Analyst, Louth is pretty much as neutral as you could get in Meath football!!! Its a bit of fun and still reports on the match anyway, relax

i am a neutral and the Dunshaughlin reports are excellent, it is what is needed and look forward to it every week. It is only my opinion but i have also heard rave reviews about them. The guys who writes them should team up with Rory's stories

I think the report is quite good and it gives an account of how players performed unlike the reporting in the news media where the reports only tell you who scored which in many cases tell very little about the game in terms of who set up scores and who played well. Other clubs who give good reports are Skyrne/Sens. -keep up the good reporting. God knows we all need a bit of humour in life and reading the many posts I would say too many of them take themselves too seriously!!

Listen the odd quip might be funny but it loses its effectiveness with its regularity. I'' stick up for Analyst a little and say it gets boring v quickly. Would rather few more interesting facts on scores etc..

I liked the Dunshaughlin reports when they first came out, they were something new and different. They got old very quick though, not worth reading through any more.

Hi folks, Just wondering. Since the formatting for the championship was reversed. does this meant that the league was reversed too, that the top 2 are promoted or is it still second and third go into a semi final for promotion?

I thing its all reversed. Think Marty McFly going back to 1985 to stop the Iranians from shooting Doc Brown, except this time the CB were successful.

Meath Hill actually beat Drumbaragh in a high-scoring affair this afternoon by a scoreline of 2-17 to 3-12 and not the other way round as suggested in the Meath GAA website.
