Planner for 1st quarter out today 13 days later than last year. I suppose they had to wait to see what happened at Competitions meeting last week. Not too bad nothing up on any other County Web site I looked at

A league matches due to take place next weekend. It's Thursday and still no mention of a fixture? How can players/parents/coaches plan anything when they don't know what day they are playing on? There should be some motion passed that clubs know their fixtures at least 10/12 days in advance, it really shouldn't be that difficult

Just want to say one thing. It is an absolute DISGRACE that clubs are being made to play on the Sunday morning of a Meath game in Enniskillen.
Essentially what the county board are doing here is saying "we don't give a toss about whether you want to support the county team, we're taking that option away from you".

With all the free days between now and the time the Meath leagues end (November probably), and with Meath only playing away a handful of times in the National League, is it beyond the wit of those making the fixtures to leave those 3 or 4 Sundays free??

Same thing happened last year with Galway game. It makes my blood boil. The county board could not give a ***** about supporters travelling to an away match, probably because they don't get as much/any of the gate receipts.

hiya keeks, the league fixtures have been posted on both the meath gaa web site and the hogan stand, smallhouse i see your point , but we need to kick off the season, club players want games, clubs with floodlights have moved their fixtures to friday and saturday nights with the agreement of opposition, ccc and refs,
