So it's that time of year - club managers swap around and go somewhere else. I hear Sean Kelly is back in the hot seat with Ashbourne and funny man Rory O'Connor is his number 2. Another good Meath man goes to a Dublin club with Kit Henry going to St Brigids and I believe he's bringing Marty Reilly and Si Farrell from Dunshaughlin too. Reilly used to play for Brigids so it makes sense. Eamonn O'Brien in the running for Dunshaughlin apparently. Any truth that Donal Curtis has the Tones job? That would be a good appointment.

yes its common knowledge Martin O'Reilly ,Kit Henry & Simi Farell are going to St Brigid's. Ray Maloney taking over as player manager with Jim Smith as selector so it will be an interesting 2016 for the Div 1 A league champions. They have a very interesting project going on at the moment with a state of the art clubhouse build in progress so exciting times ahead

Yeah hopefully it will bear fruit for Dunshaughlin and Meath in the future. If more clubs do what the likes of Ratoath are doing,Meath would be in a very healthy state. In fairness, signs that Ashbourne,Dunboyne,Walterstown to name a few are doing good work..

Our very own Micky Conlon has left our senior team to go back and get involved in the minors , hard act to replace after running Ratoath close in intermediate semi final.

A new club house means nothing on the field, I think kit Henry sees the writhing on the wall as far as dunshaughlin chances next year
The truth is they are an ageing team and are in trouble at underage

'I think kit Henry sees the writing on the wall as far as Dunshaughlin chances next year . The truth is they are an ageing team and are in trouble at underage'

Can't deny that head4dblackspot. I believe that there are two reasons for it. Firstly, I feel that the whole St Martin's split was unnecessary and ill advised. Secondly and tragically, we lost Tommy Clusker RIP, a terrific coach. He was doing for us what Dermot Reilly did at Ratoath. Couldn't be replaced.

Joey Farrelly is still with Walterstown even after the players voted against and many players not willing to commit. Selectors have pulled out because of it and the new selectors are part of the committee that agreed to keep him doesn't seem a great setup not supporting their players with some players not playing now and waiting until they can transfer out of club.

I have been told from A very reliable source that Ciaran Whelan will be player coach with a club team close to the border.

Any other clubs changing managers. Seems like a fairly quiet year.
