Minor Football league runs off in Spring and players get about 7 games; Championship doesn't kick off until September most teams get 3+ games. Finalist / Semi Finalists get another few games.

Minor Hurling is a joke. They tried to run a league off earlier in the year and didn't finish it. If clubs managed to fulfil the fixtures teams would have had 5/6 games. However there were a lot of walkovers etc. Championship would be QF/ SF/Final and will be run off in November!!

Trim v Na Fianna and Dunboyne v Kiltale two good games, expect Trim and Kiltale to prevail and Kiltale to win well. Trim way too young but that isnt exactly a bad thing for the future!

expect it to be Kiltale v Na Fianna in final.
Kiltale lost to Trim in the league; but have more hurling played since and should win.
Ratoath are a much weaker without Daragh Kelly and Na Fianna should win handily.

Ratoath very poor to Na Fianna, Na Fianna should win 5+, Same for Kiltale, different class to a very very young Trim team, nine u16s in their starting 15. Very positive for the coming years but will be bet by 10+ by a strong Kiltale team packed with senior players

They won this age at u14,15,16 with Gavin McGowan and Darragh Kelly. With them yes Na Fianna would have no answer for them but without them two it's Na fiannas game

Ratoath won it at u15&16...Seem to be a two man team. Wouldnt be surprised with a Nafianna trim final with the two of them competing the u16 final. Interesting to see how these games go. On another playing minor hurling championship the last 2 weeks in December is beyond a joke something really needs to be done to prevent this from happening again no benefit for anyone

All competitions should be finished my November IMO. No young lads want to be out training and playing games in the freezing cold and rain. Terrible standard of hurling this time of year too, hopefully CB cop on to themselves and give these boys what they deserve
