Donaghmore/Ashbourne V Na Fianna....Promises to be a great Game of Football and i will be shouting on our Neighbours in this one and expect them to take care of D/A who always seem to come up short at this stage of the Championship.

Verdict=Na Fianna

St Peters V Cortown....All the pressure on Cortown in this decider and i expect that to have an effect on this game,This young st peters team have nothing to loose and i am going for then to cause a surprise in this one.

Verdict=St Peters

Navan o Mahonys V Wolfe Tones....Really looking forward to this tussle,i expect a high scoring game with plenty of open football and im going to stick my neck out and say Wolf Tones to sneak it by a few points.

Verdict=Wolf Tones

Ballinabrackey V Ballinlough....Two teams who have peaked just at the right time and its nearly impossible to call,both teams will never give up and battle till the last second But as a proud Bracks Man i"m gonna say we just might make history.Bracks by 2 points.

Verdict=Ballinabrackey.

Looking forward to the great Glennys predictions :)

I will go with Don/Ash and Navan which would be a great final and the clash of the 2 big towns in the county! Would be great to see Don/Ash make their first final in a long time and I'm confident that they will.

I think Don/ash and tones are unbeaten this year in championship so far. While NOM and Na Fianna have been patchy.. So would will have to go for a Tones Don/Ash final.

Good man Lurch I always knew you valued my predictions and sat on the edge of your seat waiting.... so here they are after much taught I fully expect to get 100% right this week end
Senior
Don/Ash v Na Fianna
This is a really tough one to call Ashbourne have beaten them already is that a sign, Na Fianna have most players back except for Mick Foley who was their best player in 2012/13 he is a big loss. Ashbounre have to prove themselves they have been close before and fell, Has Clarke put a bit extra steel in them they have the players but they need to preform. Na Fianna will like Navan if they can get goals they might win. It will be close but Ashbourne might just have enough.
Omahonys v Wolfe Tones
OMahonys as always are favourites until they are beaten Tones can really test them and wont lack effort or confidence, OMahonys maybe be on a mission this year Last year they won the Feis Cup and the League but slipped in Championship, It is noticable that they are out of both this year but very much in the Race for Keegan, I think they will get tru

Intermediate
There is only one winner here everyone knows my stance whoever beats Castletown will win it. This has happened over last 2 years and will happpen again. It wont be pretty two very defensive teams. Bracky out of Trim will beup for it but Navan may effect them. They won the Junior a few years ago playing the same Donegal type football nothing wrong with that you cut your cloth to measure. Ballinlough are a big team who also get behind the ball I predict a low enough scoring affair but with my house and it remorgaged again on Ballinlough they will win as the bet the Daddies.

Junior
Cortown will come with a plan hit anything that moves and that may rattle this young Dunboyne team, The Referee will have a big part to play if he controls it then Dunboyne have a chance. Cortown have some young stylish players and will get a decent score but with Donboyne clocking up 2-14 or or in most games something like 1-10 0r 12 will do them here. They will get that and edge home.

B League
Na Fianna v Pats, Good game expected if Na Fianna win on Sat they may rest a few players, Pats won Junior C and Hurling and will give it a go but Na Fianna will win this one

I believe Ash have beaten Na Fianna twice this year,alot of motivation for the Enfield club,but I think Ash may grind out a victory here.
When O'Mahonys are good they are great and nobody will beat them when they are on form,even without Reilly,they have quality all over the field,a lot of experienced players and some good young players too.Put McKeigue on Ward and I cannot see Wolfe Tones winning..

Some statement, that explains how they have won 3 championships in 24 years, and they have beaten Tones once since they came up senior in 2006...

The great glenny has spoken although predictions this year have not been great,so I said il show you how it's done..
Don/ash v na fianna
Think na fianna are peaking just at the right time and they love playing there football in navan,ash second half display against duleek was class if they play like that they will be hard to beat,na fianna have to keep a close eye on ciaran Ellis wing back and if they do I fancy na fianna by 3 or 4..
O'mahs v tones
What a game this could be real rivalry built up over the years,there's talk that mc keigue will be on ward I think that would be a huge mistake from the navan men Niall has done well on him a few times but at 35 and the form ward is in this year I'd fancy wardie's chance's,Shepard at full back although playing well it's not his natural position and could be found out Sunday,also navan's midfield is as weak as it's ever been and that's where this could be won if tones supply ward brothers with good ball,verdict tones by 2
Ballinlough v bracks
This one is going to be tight and hard to call,glenny I think you have it so wrong about ballinlough style of play they cannot be all about defence if they scored 2:14 against a strong Castletown team as you know,anyway some great match ups all over the park,(lutch you will be happy with this)but I think bracks have the more potent forward line..verdict bracks 4 or 5
Cortown v dunboyne
I've seen cortown play a few times this year and while they are a bit physical they have 2 nippy forwards in o'rouke and rispin who will trouble dunboyne's defence but as much as I'd like to see cortown win(first team playing second team)I don't think they will dunboyne have more balance and are free scoring..verdict dunboyne by 1

can you not read, the once they beat Tones was in 2012 final, so what. Ziggy the fact you are talking about the current O mahoney's is exactly my point, the team of a few years back was a very good team, this one is very poor by comparison

Analyst-Did they not win in 1990 so in last 24 years of competition that means 4 championships and obviously no one has won yet in 2014 as that will not be known for another couple of weeks. Skryne have won 5 in the last 24 years. On the matches at the weekend I think anyone of those left can beat anyone else on the day as there has been no outstanding club in the county over a long number of years. Past records will count for little on Saturday or Sunday.

You've obviously never played against this club, if you did you'd realise they're never poor.I've played against them many times and anyone else here who has will tell you they're never poor. They're as honest a team you'll ever play.Super fit, great pace all over and fine ball players.Everyone has to rise themselves 100% when you see the fixture or else you know you'll get nothing from them.They can be beaten but thats the great thing about taking them on you know you'll have deserved your win as you'll have played well to get it.You'll never hear a word from their camp or they're players spouting about what they're going to do, unlike some teams who are not playing this weekend.
Id love to be going out this sunday to try and beat them as the loss of Paddy Smyth and Kevin Reilly gives the tones a better chance of winning. But i wouldn't bank on it. The 4 teams have a great chance of going all the way and i wish all 4 the best of luck.Really is the most evenly matched semi finals ive seen in a long time. Conditions and who adapts better will have a baring. As long as the men in the middle let both games flow and let them at it. Don't rule out extra time.

Wouldnt read much into "x have never beaten y" stuff. Sure wind the clock back 15 months and Meath had never lost a championship match to Tyrone or Armagh. All's changed now though.

Easy for Ashbourne in the end, Na Fianna missed a peno and went down to 13 at the start of the second half. Crazy stat on Twitter, Don/Ash's first senior final since 1943!
