Id be inclined to agree. That's not even legal is it. Your paying a price for a product, which isn't changing. Its still the same product.
Most people who are paid weekly aren't paid until the end of the week, and that's when they'll be buying their tickets, especially considering they would have had the expense of a game last weekend (and this applies to the 4 counties on this side of the draw). So to penalise people for not have the money earlier seems very unfair.

The GAA in this case would be essentially touting their own tickets.

Also this craic of having "general admission" tickets for qualifiers whereby stand and terrace prices are the same doesn't wash with me. Another money making ploy from the powers that be. In saying that, there's not many perks to having a stand ticket in pt...

It is to pay for the new scoreboard! Seriously though, I think it is 20 quid and no more.

In 1999 all ire final I paid £180 for two hill tickets, from a dodgy looking dub, to this day I dont think they were legit, but they did the job, this was after arriving in country that morning without tickets, I promised boss I be back in work on Tuesday in London, I arrived back the following Friday, needless to say the job didn't last very long after that. Ahh the things we do for our beloved Meath. Honestly they could charge me 50 for a ticket on Saturday, id moan and complain but id pay it. To me its a addiction, I gave up drink along while ago , and I gave up smoking two years ago for health reasons. I have little left apart from following Meath all over country. That all been said I'm one of the lucky ones as I can afford it, (wasn't always the case) but a extra fiver tenner for many can mean affording to go to a match or not. But the powers that be dont care about that unfortunately

I agree with you but unfortunatley I'm in the category where that extra few quid does make the difference! I will do my best to go the game but 25euro is very steep !!

Yes I noticed my fathers ticket had that last Saturday, whilst I agree the benefits of a seat in the soon to be ripped apart stand are non existent, there should be segregation between the two sides. The fact that its "general admission" also doesn't segregate which turnstiles spectators should enter through and this quite possibly led to the delay with everyone trying to barrel through the one set of stiles, I doubt it will be any different come next Saturday.

Not sure if this was disgust already but whats the story with General admission on the tickets? Does it mean they can be used for both stand and terrace?

Hi bob me old friend. Yep it means for anywhere, but stand filled up very quickly last day, so my advice would be in by half five to ensure seat.
