In the neighbouring parish there is a family and they are call the "the Rocks" they were all very big men ,who all played GAA, when they were playing you hear people shouting give it to Johnny rock or Tommy rock. The youngest boy of the family was quite small when he was younger. and when he stated playing for the local club ,the guy was training them in under age and asked this pactuliar brother who he was the young fella said he was Tommy and Johnny Rock brother, Tony. The trainer ,laughed at him and said "your no Rock ,sure your a pebble boy". ver (None) - Posts: 228 - 21/08/2008 14:36:22 81684 Link 0 |
