So by the looks of it, the Junior B knockout stages are: Preliminary QF: Na Fianna v Nobber Quarter Finals: Kilbride v Na Fianna/Nobber Gaeil Colmcille v Boardsmill St. Patrick's v Slane Trim v St. Colmcille's Hoping that Kilbride can go all the way. Well a great year so far, but I don't think they have a good record in the knockout stages, and Dunsany or Summerhill (likely Dunsany) will be a tough test. A Meath Hill vs Dunsany Q final would be great to watch..the 2 outright favourites in my opinion. Stuttered ..... don't know about that played most league matches without Flanagan. Dowdall only back in country since may and lost their regular full back to inter county transfer. After all the fuss made by the first teams in Junior to have second sttings in a seperate group, which guaranteed that at least 2 (if not 3 as is now the case) would be in Quarters, it now looks likely that 3 second strings could be in semi finals as i would expect Dunboyne, tones and Summerhill to all win Quarter finals. Did I hear correctly that Simonstown are basically playing their Junior A team in the Junior C championship? If Simonstown were to win Junior C and get "relegated" from Junior A (which looks as if it'll be the case), how will promotion/relegation between Junior A and Junior B work? Analyst , Your missing the point. Junior clubs don't care if a senior second team wins the championship, that's not the problem. The problem has been second string teams being extremely strong in the first round and becoming weaker as the championship progressed, giving a major advantage to teams who played them in the latter rounds. Well, 2 or 3 second teams were always going to ge to the quarters. This doesn't prove anything that second teams are better this year. Don't forget that there was a big gap in Senior matches this year - Dunboyne juniors had 4 c'ship matches between their senior team's matches. They might have had a choice of some senior players. Also, Meath Hill and Moylagh could very easily beat Summerhill and Tones. Be interesting so. I go for 3 second strings to win, this by the way would not be a good sign for football as both Summerhill and Tones are rural clubs , Dunboyne are different in that their player base covers a huge population covering 2 counties

I have a funny feeling a 2nd team will win Junior A.
