Anybody fancy a half back line of ford, conlon, and Harnan next year? I never had any complaints about the players MOD picked. Apart from the issue with Alan ford I think he generally had the best players on the panel. Generally no complaints about Andy-- but bringing Joe into the panel is strange and I'm not sold on toher at midfield. Really impressed with progress through the league...if we can build the same way through the championship we could be in for a good summer. McMahon, E Wallace and McGill would be nailed on starters on my team. Joey Wallace good off the bench. But I see nothing from Cian O'Brien. Power had a good game against Galway but I still have no faith in him at 6. I reckon that Conlon still has to convince AndymcEntee a bit more before he is handed a starting jersey. McEntee obviously attended all of the U-21 matches, and while Conlon was decent, his performances didn't scream "Senior Team". McEntee had plenty of opportunity to play him in the last few rounds of the league, but didn't do so. I think we will see him given plenty of opportunities in challenge matches to show what he can do, but unless he really stands out, I would be surprised to see him start in the championship. I'm not saying that is right. RD, something like this POR DK CmcG MB DT PH SMcE BM RJ JMcE COS EW BMcM MN DL Took Meath 15-20 mins to get a score first half. Great run by COS to set up the goal. We are still easy to run at and through! Newman off at half time. ROC did well when he came on. Good few subs used in the second half.
