Nearly sure I seen a sign today passing kilmainham that they were playing Down there on April 30th at 6.00.
But just make sure ya get that confirmed before travelling as I only copped it at the last minute.

Passed it a few times over the weekend and its 6pm on 30th April. I'll head along and get my oul fella out to a game for the first time since 2015. Both been in mixed health last couple of years so we've not managed to get along to a game.

Yes Meath are playing Down in Kilmainham 6pm on 30th April and then the following Sunday (7th May) Meath are playing Cavan in Ballinlough.
Not sure of the time, should be two good enough games all going well.

Hi ziggy32001, yes and what I am hearing even some of the lads who are on the injured list are fit enough to be brought back in but were given a little bit of extra time to get fully fit, that's why they weren't rushed back during the league. So all going well Andy should have a good hand to pick from come the championship V Wicklow/ Louth and hopefully Kildare & Dublin.....

Glad to see it we are certainly due a bit of fortune on the injury front. Regardless of our run in the championship i think Mcentee has brought back some confidence and appetite to the county. I also believe,he has the best players in the county training with Meath at the minute. My only regret is that we have had a 5 year gap with no improvement on the team, largely down to the fact that the best players weren't on the panel for Micko for what ever reason.

Hope you enjoy it both of you. And all the best with the health

Fairly sure it's 90% of the same panel from the last 3 years, Toher will get caught out mid field and as footballer, massive kick of a ball but out from that brings nothing, Menton didn't want to play last year and is a massive addition to the team, just hope he doesn't get hurt and keeps playing well,

Menton wouldn't play under previous management neither would Forde and a few others. I think the point is everyone was given a chance to show and team was taken from that. No one can have any complaints.

RD:you are 100% wrong there, I know the 2 lads very well, Menton wanted a break from county football and thought highly of Micko and knew Micko's approach to football and he didn't have the commitment, Alan fired was in America or Aussie,

You heard someone saying that on here and you just assumed it was true, if you don't hear it from the horses mouth and face to face you shouldn't be assuming other people are right in what they say, cause from your posts you live in a bubble world, good boy

Here here SS6. You'll very rarely hear a bad word about Micko from the squad. He tried everyone and everything to get Meath to the next level. He was very unlucky with injuries but ultimately didn't get the job done.

We'll see if Andy and his team can measure up. Leinster final this year is a must.

From my understanding of the Micko years, the only complaint players had of him was he was too quite and always protecting the players instead of saying it exactly as it was and blaming the players when required. While he was generally held in high regard and well respected by the players they had no fear of him. That is the major difference now, if a player makes a mistake Andy will call him on it. Similarly when a player does well he is reconsidered for that too. Us humans are a fickle bunch at times it takes very little to tip the balance in the right direction.
