Replying To royaldunne:  "Look I'm not having a go, I just think we need his leadership and above all his scoring and setting up scores in our biggest game we have played in many years, it would ease a hell of a lot of hurt if we were to beat the juggernaut in their back garden and dent their 2 in a row, lets be honest Dublin think they only have to turn up, I want us to bloody win, I have been a huge critic of mod since the disasters against Armagh (championship) and Westmeath in particular , but if he can win this one then alot , not all (never forgive loosing to the weaties) will be forgiven and he will get another year without a doubt.
I dont do moral victories I want to shove it done the arrogant jackeens throats that you NEVER take Meath for granted. This is it after 4 years of hurt I want to beat them, id give up my kidney (the good one for this) I want our beat players to play , and biggy is one of our best players and the one who could just do something extra special (remember 10 v dubs? ) he had a field day, that game v Westmeath where he lobbed connaughton? That huge kick into kenny in 10,? Ok it didn't end good but Seamus should have fisted it over bar.
But I want to win against these lot, I want it more than life , and bloody hell if we do it ill streak through croke park, and no steward will stop me.
Hon the Royal"
Biggys leadership ? What leadership.

Scoring a few points doesn't make you a leader.

Biggy is talented, But leader ? Far from it.

He just doesn't make an effort when his man runs off him, And he hasn't turned up in a big game for Meath against Dublin, infact he goes into hiding. Leaders are never found wanting.

He completely neglects his defensive duties which are the ugly side of a forwards game but something that has to be done for the good of the team.

He will have to get his act together..

Sadly Wayno is spot on...

He can do what he does going forward and STILL be able to defend and stay with his man.The Dublin half forward line are talented but look at the work they put in.Either Biggy gets his act together or we need a stronger manager to do that.As I said before we cannot afford any passengers, because Dublin will work their socks off,if we don't match them here(and there is no excuse not to) we will be hammered like 2 years ago.

I know Reilly can frustrate but have we a forward in reserve that is capable of scoring 3/4 points? Overall I think he contributes more than Newman. Both will start against Dublin

Yeah great idea we will all take of from different directions (I said directions, you small minded people) and really confuse them.

The four of us could have a three-legged race for potbellied culchies along the sideline. The losers have to do chin-ups (Carlow style) on the crossbar in front of Hill 16.

I think we would be foolish to simply play 'big men' in the forward line,I mean Dublin will expect that, you gotta mix it up a bit.

We aren't Arrogant.

Even Meath people are realistic when it comes to the difference in opposition that lie ahead.

You beat Louth on Sunday, You are playing the defending All Ireland, league and Leinster champions next. A team who have won 4 league titles in a row, 3 of the last 5 all Irelands, 10 of the last 11 Leinster's, And have a winning points average of 13, 14 and 19 points in leinster in the last 3 years and are unbeaten in 20-odd games league and championship playing Donegal, Kerry, and Mayo regularly in that run.

Stats and facts don't lie. We are the top team in the country. Its not arrogance its a fact. If a Kerry or Mayo man said that, Would you label him arrogant or is it just cause if Dubs state those facts we are cocky and arrogant ?

And while I'm talking facts, Ive got one for your beloved biggy :D

Since scoring 0-01 for Meath in the 2010 Leinster semi final, Reilly has played 3 games against Dublin, scoring 0-03 from play (all in one game in 2012, scoreless in 2013 and 2014), The last time these two teams met, Kevin McManamon scored the same amount of points (0-03) all from play, In 2 minutes and 2 seconds. (30:40, 31:46 and 32:42)
