Championship hopes and aspirations

Christ there is no way anyone can be dismissive of either Louth or Kildare! Regardless of whether the scoreline in February was flattering or not, to say that they're "no match for Meath" 2 months after beating us by 10 in our own backyard is madness.

I even taught if we could get some pressure on them they might panic, we got back to around 5 at one stage , but they they got another goal and where never under any real pressure throughout the game. It will be a different game the next time. I think we will be ready. I think it was a bad decision not to play a strong team against Galway when they where promoted. I think it killed momentum leading into the final. 4 or 5 changes yes but not not 14. Kildare can up there performance for Meath too. if indeed it happens."
I'm.not trying to be over confident or cocky, I watched that game yesterday and Kildare were poor, actually id say both teams were poor, perhaps worst Galway have played and yet Kildare were no match for them, Kildare have peaked, I worry more about Louth , if we pass them I can see us winning semi v Kildare ala Clare game. That first round game was a total fluke. Wouldn't read anything into it, should Meath meet Kildare, id wager my house on Meath -4. . Louth are the worry for me.

Replying To Royalace:  "I'd agree with you. From what I seen yesterday Kildare wouldn't worry me too much. Never like playing Louth they always perform against Meath but we should just shade it."
Yep that's my thoughts too

It is no place for a match. A absolute kip"
Louth V Meath on a bank holiday sunday in june will attract 20k plus. Don't think PP is the right decision for this one.

I heard it was being trimmed after the game against Clare, never heard who was dropped though. I'd say there are a couple of players who havent played for us in the O'Byrne Cup or League so you would imagine they would be dropped first.
