There were three senior hurling championship games tonight. As in their opening round win over Dunboyne, Trim came good in the last ten minutes to see of a very resilient Longwood in Kildalkey. A Neil Heffernan goal was crucial to the 'town' cause. County footballers James Toher and Mickey Burke lined out. Elsewhere there was massive wins for St. Peters and Kildalkey
