Summerhill 1-15 St. Pats 2-7

Summerhill got the year off to a winning start beating St.Pats in preliminary Feis Cup game played in Summerhill on Saturday afternoon.

Almost from the throw in David Larkin had the ball in the net followed by a point from in form Sean Dalton.

Shortly after this St Pats got a goal, but the 'Hill' hit eight more points to the visitors four to go in at the break ahead 1-9 to 1-4.

Midway through the second half  St Pats got a second goal which left the game competitive to the end.

Summerhill went out winners by five points and play Blackhall Gaels in Summerhill on Sunday next 5th Feburary at 11.30.
