Congratulations to Meath whistler David Gough who was honoured with the Shane Hourigan Young Referee of the Year Memorial Award at the GAA National Referees' Awards Banquet in Croke on Saturday night.
The Slane clubman presided over some high profile encounters during the course of 2016, including the All-Ireland SFC semi-final between Dublin and Kerry.
He was presented with the award by GAA President Aogán Ó Fearghail and Seán Walsh, Chairman of National Referee Development Committee.
