Donaghmore Ashbourne mantained their 100% record in Div 1 of the A League with a 1.13 to 0.6 victory over Simonstown at Ashbourne.

Four points from Bryan Menton along with scores from Paul Gilligan, Andrew Tormey, Shaun Byrne and corner back Jack McCarney gave the winners an interval lead of 8 points to 3.

Andrew Tormey (2), Shane Melia, Michael Deegan and Paul Gilligan added points in the second half before Andrew Tormey's late goal sealed the win. Simonstown added three more second half points and had a penalty saved by Don/Ash keeper Andy Colgan in injury time.

Good team performance overall ahead of the game against Summerhill away on Saturday evening at 7pm.
