Loreto aim to make history

The Loreto 'Roar' will be heard this Saturday in Longford
St Michaels Loreto Navan will be aiming to make history this Saturday when they travel to Pearse Park Longford. The Navan school will be aiming to put All Ireland Colleges titles back to back when they take on St. Brigids Convent of Mercy Tuam in the Tesco HomeGrown All Ireland PPS Senior B Championship Final.
This time last year Michelle Delaney's charges travelled to another Longford venue, Ardagh, and defeated St Joseph's Foxford of Mayo to claim the All Ireland Post Primary Schools Senior Championship Final with a comfortable 10-14 to 1-11 victory.
The girls blazed a trail through Leinster beating St. Joseph's Secondary School Rochfortbridge in the final at Mullingar.
In the All Ireland semi final Loreto accounted for St Augustine Waterford in Crettyard on a scoreline of 3-14 to 1-13.
