MFL3: Na Fianna move to top of the table

Na Fianna moved into first position in the league courtesy of this comfortable home win in Enfield on St Patrick's morning.

The home side produced a strong defensive display in the first half to lead by 0-8 to 0-1 at half time. Ethan Devine and Jack McNally accounted for seven of these scores while the outstanding Cian Slattery got forward to kick a point from long range.

Na Fianna closed out the game in the second half and when Ethan Devine sent a shot into the bottom corner of the net, the home side had an eleven point advantage. Glen McDonnell kicked a fine score before pulling on another ball and sending it over the bar. Jack McNally helped himself to three more points, one an outstanding effort from out on the wing before the visitors capitalised on slack defending to net two late goals.

Best for Na Fianna were Sean Coffey, Ethan Devine, Cian Slattery, Jack McNally, Daniel Devine and Ronan Byrne.
