February 20, 2015

Meath midfielder Conor Nash

One of the best minor footballers in the county, Conor Nash has been picked to play on the Ireland Rugby Under 18's clubs team. The Simonstown player was outstanding at midfield for Meath last weekend in their Leinster Minor Football League victory against Louth at Ashbourne.

The talented midfielder was also a star for St Pats College as they claimed the North Leinster Senior Football League last December, beating St Mels in the final.

Ireland take on Italy this Saturday, February 21st at Ashbourne RFC while the Meath minors are in Leinster MFL round 2 action against Longford at the same time in Edgeworthstown.

Nash is joined on the Ireland team by two more Simonstown minor footballers Conor Hand and Conor Farrell. Farrell will captain the team.

Nash will complete the back three while Hand and Farrell join Gorey's Paul Boyle in the back row to complete the pack.
