The second round of the O'Byrne Cup brought eight bonus midweek matches at various venues around Leinster.

Feature games taking place tonight included Dublin against Offaly at Parnell Park, Meath V Longford in Navan and the meeting of Louth and UCD at Haggardstown.

Elsewhere, Kildare hosted Carlow; Westmeath were looking for a long overdue victory when DCU visited Kinnegad; Laois entertained NUI Maynooth; while Wexford and Wicklow entertained IT Carlow and DIT respectively.

Last weekend's games produced an unbelievable amount of talking points and the stage was set for another entertaining night of floodlit football.
