AFL3: big win for Clann na nGael

Clann Na nGael picked up two valuable points away to Carnaross on Tuesday evening in this All County Division 3 League game played in nice conditions.

This was a very fine team display and in which, nine different players got on the score sheet. An early Gary Woods goal helped them on their way to this victory. Another goal just before half time from Ronan McDonagh put daylight between the teams to leave the half time score Clann Na nGael 2-10 Carnaross 1-3.

Carnaross were on top for the first ten minutes of the second half and got it back to five points, but a superb goal from Caoimhin O'Griofa sealed the issue. Throughout the match, Clann Na nGael kicked some excellent points from play in particular from Gary Hanley, Graham Geraghty, Anthony Farrell, Luke Swaine and Jamie Shaw.
