1 Andy Markey, Dunboyne: A clean sheet from last year's minor keeper as St Peters got their first win of the campaign with two points to spare over Blackhall Gaels.

2 Carl Kelly, Clann Na nGael: Solid defending from the Clann Na nGael number 2 as Graham Geraghty's charges picked up another two points with a win over St Ultans at Kells.

3 Richie Brady, Kilmainham: Despite losing to Dunderry the former Wolfe Tones player gave an outstanding display for last years junior finalists at Pairc Tailteann.

4 Mark Fedigan, Syddan: One of the new batch at Syddan. Brilliant against Trim in Simonstown, his second half point was the score of the game.

5 James O'Reilly, Navan O'Mahonys: "Bangers" as he is known around Brews Hill has established himself as a regular on the O'Mahonys senior team and no wonder with his fine display against Dunshaughlin.

6 Eoin Lynch, Longwood: Unyielding at the heart of the Longwood defence as St Michaels were dispatched at Kildalkey.

7 Alan Carty, Dunderry: The Meath U21 footballer was the best player on the Pairc Tailteann sod as Dunderry made it two from two with a win over Kilmainham.

8 Kevin Reilly, Navan O'Mahonys: Bossed the midfield exchanges against Dunshaughlin and kicked three great points.

9 Padraig Harnan, Moynalvey: Brilliant work rate and converted three 45's as Moynalvey collected their first points with a win over Rathkenny.

10 Damien Clarke, Dunderry: A commanding display from 'Swiss' on the half forward line. Was the target for most of the Dunderry kick outs and was the man behind a lot of their scores.

11 Daniel Tracey, Moynalvey: A goal and four from play for the recently returned Tracey as Moynalvey upset Rathkenny in Pairc Tailteann.

12 Ciaran Fitzsimons, Clann Na nGael: The Meath senior hurler bagged 2-2 in Clann Na nGael's 4-10 to 1-12 win over St Ultans in Kells.

13 Daire Rowe, Syddan: Fresh from his exploits with the Meath minors on Saturday, Rowe turned in another brilliant display scoring 1-6 as Syddan beat a fancied Trim in Simonstown.

14 Colin Clarke, Dunboyne: Came on as a sub a proceeded to give a man of the match performance, scoring three points as Dunboyne defeated Blackhall Gaels.

15 David Bray, Navan O'Mahonys: Top scorer on the day with 2-2 as Dunshaughlin had no answer to championship favourites O'Mahonys at Pairc Tailteann.
