O'Mahonys came out on top in this low scoring encounter in Skryne on Easter Sunday.

O'Mahonys got off to the better start with Sean Keating finding the net in the 3rd minute. Dunboyne responded with three points in the next six minutes to draw level with just nine minutes played. O'Mahonys dominated the remainder of the first half, outscoring Dunboyne by 0-5 to no score with O'Mahonys scores coming from Robbie Keelaghan (0-2), Sean Keating (0-2) and David Dillon (0-1).

O'Mahonys went in at the break with a 1-5 to 0-3 lead. The second half saw just one point scored by Dunboyne in the next twenty minutes. O'Mahonys only score of the second half came through an Alan Forde 51st minute goal. Dunboyne responded with two further points but O'Mahonys held on to secure a 2-5 to 0-6 victory.
